i personally think the RS2k isn't that great
It handles well, has a nice spec etc. but just feels like any other, non RS badged escort
I'm sure a 280bhp one is good though
The GTi-6 feels quicker [is quicker] and handles well standard
As said before, mk3 golfs are pretty barge-like
in comparison to either the escort or the pug
If I was getting a cheap[ish] NA, FWD track car, I would DEFINITELY try and find a 1.6 vti Civic
either an older CRX or a 3 door
