any way, the pace seems to hold good rep,
but im thinking of stinking a 3i one on now or taking the water feed of the turbo in an effort to get more cooling
any one using a good thermostat they can recomend aswell

I wouldn't ever recomment taking a thermostat out. I bought a halfords one for mine just because it was there at the time, admittedly i run standard boost at the moment but with the fan on or driving along at only 10mph the needle sits well towards to cool end. No doubt if/when the power goes up it wont be up to the job.
I also wouldn't recommend disconnecting the turbos coolant supply although ive seen enough people do it with no problems.
