3 possibilites if you are having trouble selecting gears,it WON'T be the clutch worn out, quite the opposite, the clutch isn't disengaging properly.

In order of most likely:

Quadrant fucked
Cable stretching/preparing to snap
Diaphram springs on the pressure plate snapped/thrust bearing fucked (VERY unlikely if its a recent clutch)
