If the car is highly polished its not a bad idea to have some fresh paint as too much polishing can wear thin on seams and joins exposing them to rust starting. So a new coat will cover them. If your aving it painted see if you can save the stickers from coming off.
My thoughts exactly, except for the stickers.....a classic for making the paint start to flake and chip not very far down the line
