I've got an Evo V111 GSR with only a few mods and agree you don't get the feeling of power, but trust me, the power is definitely there! It reaches it's speeds so much more smoothly without the discernible lag that cossies have. Boost cuts in a lot lower down, also the 6-speed box on the Evo VIII is totally different to the gear ratios on a cossie.

When I test drove my Evo, I was really shocked when I looked down at the speedo to see that I was doing over a ton it had reached it so smoothly and effortlessly, I hadn't realised it.
