Agree with all of this, recently started a love affair with these things, and I'm deciding which one to get.

What I found was that it's far quicker for the EVO to get to the 'oh crap I'm filling my pants' stage of speed, (as hitchikers' said, a speed far too fast to be considered sensible). The cossies feel faster, but by God can the EVOs hang on at high speed.

FQ400 and 340bhp EVO6 are my favourite so far, the rest didn't seem half as exciting. Despite the power drop, I'm still leaning towards the '6.
