Been looking to buy an Evo VIII recently.

Viewed one last night, an FQ 300 with mods taking it to 370. I didn't drive the car, but sat in the passenger seat and to be honest was very disappointed with the performance.

It didn't feel as quick as my saph (300-330 bhp i guess). Is it just the smoother power delivery? There was no kick.

Anyone own/driven one ? It's a shed load of cash for me to part with for something that could be a step back in performance.
