As fitted by ford they were cliped in but the window bond would often squeeze out and grab the trim. You will only find out while trying to remove them and its the to late.
If the window has ever been replace or removed and refited then quite often the clips are not used by windscreen companys and the trim will be fully bonded with the glass.
remove by useing oscilating screen cutter from the inside although you will probably need to remove the trim so as you don't damage it.
If the outer trim is already out then a cheese wire cutter can be used. But this can do even more damage to inner trims and outer paintwork in in-experianced hands
Front and rear screens are replace more often and use a rubber seal which is mass produced on rolls and cut to length. The side moulding is just that a moulding and as such only made by ford for 3 drs (not a very big market)
