As mentioned, the Sierra 4x4 standard version is no longer available AFAIK, the Escort version is slightly different and not interchangeable unless you change the output shaft of the gearbox to a later Escort one to match the joint.

BMW use this type of 'Guibo' joint a lot - just a thought, maybe there is a cross-match to one of these??
