u don’t need to use the accumulator on the efi set up as it only design for an rst i got rid of my mk4 fuel filter with the banjo bolts and gone for the mk5-6 escort fuel pipes-lines as they are push on and off much neater - easier then an 19 mm bolt which they don’t make any more.
I know you don't have to use the accumulator but mine being under the rear of the car i really can't be hassled to source new fuel lines, and it can only help with fuel surging when the fuel is running low, thats its purpose? I would like to run the MK5 filter but where do u get the lines made up? Braided ones are dinlo money
