I find it odd that its that hard to be honest. As Oranoco says, try backing the shocks right off and see what that is like.

After that, the only factor can be springs. The ones I do are Cobra and lower the car by around 25-30mm. They are the best I have used. They handle superbly and suit an old-fart like me in terms of ride-quality. They are firm, but not over the top.

My car is FULLY poly-bushed too, with Vibratechnics mounts etc, so if I say they are OK, remember thats on a car that is harsh for other reasons too!! So they must be good!
