When you change the email address, a verification notice is sent to the new email address. You need to log into your email, find the notification and click a link provided. Same way as you did when oyu registered. It's basically a reactivation of your account, under the new email address.

Once you have reactivated the account and logged in, log out again clear all temp files and cookies, then log in again and it will all be sorted.
