I'll admit to doing it once, called in to the pub on the way home from work for a couple, which ended up being 3 as we were having a right laugh with this twat we worked with, and I just forgot I was driving

was about a mile drive home, took it quite steady as I knew I would be over the limit and had no excuse, made it home safe. was about 4 years ago I reackon, not really a drinker now so its not really an issue.
