I'm planning to fit an S2 clutch (d=220mm) to an MK3 Escort XR3i (original clutch d=200m). I already have the the flywhell, so that the bigger clutch will fit to it, but I was told, that the 220mm clutches are "low-lift", so there can be a problem. (Or I have to change the clutch operating arm as well).
Any experience with it...?
Pretty sure all the release arms are the same......i'll have a look on microcat
Just looked............the only variation is in the 88 changeover, difference being the release arm can be removed from the top, but im sure they are the same length etc.
