hi all, got an external hard drive to backup my files while i try to sort out my slug of a pc.. decided to fit it in the case, as a second hard drive, changed the little pin to slave etc but when i reboot the computer it opens up on the welcome page and says it's checking the drive for errors, it gets to 88% then stops, left it for about 20 minutes and it didnt increase, just wondering what im doing wrong, if i skip the disk check which i can do it works ok..
please help!
