ok, to get into the router type in 192.168.0.1

in internet explorer where you would usually type a website address.

Username for the router should be admin and the password should be password. this should bring you into the router settings page. Then in basic settings you'll see the bit for username password etc. You forgetting them I cant help with try phoning NTL? although good luck with that one if you do
