Oil on the intake for the compressor is quite common.

The oil there itself is no direct indication to the turbo going. Remember aswell.....just because there is no play doesn't mean the turbo is ok, play in the shaft is caused by worn bearings/shaft, there is ever possibility the oil seals may have worn, so no play in the shaft but its leaking oil.

From MY PERSONAL experience large quantities of oil in the higher pipes is usually a good indication the turbo may be going, although im sure soon enough there will be people posting saying thats normal. Remember thats my personal experiences, and in theory there shouldnt be oil in them but.............thats theory
