TBH as long as you don't start giving them attitude or lip most are usually OK in my experience. The younger ones are usually the arseholes, the older guys don't want the paperwork so provided you don't gob off and really aren't driving like a prat they're cool.

Saying that, I did get tugged on the A40 years back in my S1 doing 60 in a 50 by a copper on a bike and the ONLY thing he checked was my brake fluid......... No, I don't know why either ! No PNC check, no producer, nuttin'................
