hi mate
when i bought my car the fans on it were on all the time, i fitted a new fan switch ,now however they never come on regardless how hot the enine gets, av checked the relay , wiring etc , if i bridge terminals on multi plug the fans come on , nobody can tell me whats wrong with it , so i just gave up. let us know how you get on mate
