What exactly are the sidewall markings on your Pilot Sports if you don't mind me asking as I wouldn't mind getting myself a set ?
You'll probably find then Neil, that the Michelins, though most expensive, will last a long while and be very good in the dry - most tyre tests I have seen the Sports will be up in the top 2 or 3 dry handling but not as good as your preferred F1s in the wet/damp.
