first call of the day
put the slicks on, front slicks were 10mm too high 620 instead of his usual 610's, so the bumper had to be remove spaced, and then refitted, apon refitting, the splitter was going to catch so that was remove.
right so we head off to track, get to the entrance and CLUNK
the wheels on lock had pushed the bumper right out, couldnt go out on track like that as it would fuck the bumper.
So.
We come back and decide road tyres have to go back on all round, so we do that.
apon removing the slick wheels with GRP A sleeved nuts the "new" nuts had slightly shimmed the thread on the studs due to an incorrect Pitch.
another problem
luckily it didnt affect anything, so we put the road wheels back on and head up to the track entrance, after much rushing around and in fookin hot weather.
by this time were both pretty pissed off
So we get to the track cue, and a miss fire starts happening, FUCK we thought
so marco and scotty , pinned it down to number 3, right change the leads he says, buys a new set of leads off scotty, nothing, bugger, new set of plugs then scotty, put them in, nothing, its the fooookin injector, decided to freeze up
So marco's now missed 1 session about to miss another and got 2 more booked in the afternoon, spent £100+ on plugs and leads that werent needed and still no closer.
By this time we had all had enough, and marco decided to call it a day
So no track action for me or marco
Was a cracking down all in all though!
