Default how can i reduce valve overlap using vernier pulleys.....

just bought a nice set of cam pulleys for my zetec turbo and wondering if anyone has had a play with the cam timing on a zetec turbo with 130ps cams and can report there findings here!

i have been told that i need to reduce valve overlap to stop the hot exhaust gasses going back in to my cylenders (causing det etc..)because my cams are for n/a use and can be helped with a set of pulleys

so whats best advance the exhaust cam or play with the inlet cam or a bit of both?

cheers!
