Its a 6 speed box, with 2 mainshafts inside it and very close ratios for 3rd, 4th and 5th gears for better mid range acceleration without hurting 6th gear cruise rpm. Perfect for any NA engine
Dont the correct ratios depend on the power delivery/rpm of the engine?
Surely any na gearbox wont be perfect for any other n/a engine??
I know my car has an identical gbox but different ratios to a puma altho theres barely 20lbft of torque between them......
Not so much of a problem as most NA deliver the power roughly the same, unless you have a heavily modified NA.
The problem would be if you used that gearbox on a turbo car, as turbos tend to like to work against longer ratios to make the boost.
