Tech Wax is a wax with some sealant, it has no polishing abilities.

If polishing by hand, try AG Ultra Deep Shine to help mask swirls, or something with a little more cut, like Clearkote Vanilla Moose Glaze (confusing name, but it is a polish, not a glaze.)

If you want to wetten the shine, glaze the car after polishing. This will then need to be sealed. If you're pushing the boat out, you can then wax.
