When I bought my shell (in the resto's bit) I had to take another one as well, bought the two for £100 and was gonna just scrap the other one, until I realised the 2nd 'scort was a clean old bus! One call to Chiz later and it was sold (£70) as he was desperate to get out of the Metro he was banished too!

The Eclipse had been lying for years and took a bit of doing to get it moving, but a bit of work later it had a fresh mot. Not too much either, mainly daft things. He also replaced the driver's door which was goosed.

Nowadays, G508 is his run about while his Mark 1 Cortina gets restored.

It has a 1600 cvh (originally a 1.3 crossflow) with a big valve head, k&n, XR2 carb, four branch s/s manifold, XR3i exhaust with Ashley back box, S1 Recaro's, lowered 60mm, 15s, clear indicators, smoked rears, and his tunes.

Great wee motor this and one which eats VTR's and the like, which is great fun when you see their faces!
