Correct me if I'm wrong
But i've driven my Dad mad with this and would like a third opinion from the techy Bastards here
But say we've got a 1litre bottle and a 100ml glass and a 250ml Glass.
To fill the bottle up with water from the 100ml glass it would take 10 glasses to fill with the ratio being 10:1
With the 250ml glass it would only take 4 glasses to fill with the ratio being 4:1
Now onto real stuff not pissing glasses
So by fitting forged piston or fitting a thicker head gasket. You are increasing the volume (think back to the glass)
So it takes less spaces to fill the desired area
To raise the Ratio you would either skim the head or fit raised top pistons
.
So it would take more spaces to fill the desired are hence the ratio
Correct me on anything expect spelling and the like(DaveEsCos:Cry
Thanks Daniel
