THe Ford GT90 concept never went above about 50mph I think, let alone doing 235mph!
I'm sure I remember reading about the gt90 tests and it did something like 190mph but without the turbos connected as there was some sort of problem with them? This was years ago though so my memory of it might be wrong.
sounds like bull to me TBH
why on earth would they use a low comp turbo engine without the turbos to try and do a top speed test?
and surely they could afford new turbos if those were faulty.
either way it still supports what porkie is saying that hte 235 is just "estimate of what it might do" not something that was ever done
