How have you held it in ?
I welded some brackets at 90 degrees to the plate then drilled and tapped some holes through into some retainer brackets I fabricated to stop them moving. There's no way they're coming out unless someone uses a crowbar

Had thought of using some dash coloured covering but the paint I got has turned out better than I thought and I really love the way its turned out. Plus I got some greens covers for the bulbs and its just looks the dogs nuts in the dark.
