When i bought mine i had ALWAYS wanted one, so i spoke to a few people and they said IF you want one, get one with full warrenty as it will go wrong...............How right they were.

I bought mine from a proper Range Rover dealer so i knew it was a good car..

BUT

5 weeks after i bought it the engine let go---- Was a Diesel too, which are ment to be VERY reliable.
Then

ABS faults
Air suspention faults
Air bag faultss
Door locks played up
Water leaks
Gearbox and diff problems

Thank god i got the warrenty as the engine alone was 5k

To be fair the garage were VERY VERY good and always sorted the problems quick but it just pissed me off....so much so that i went out on new years eve and bought the Mondeo

i also lost ALOT of money in the 10 months i owned it with depritiation (Could of bought a nice 3DR with the money i lost on it)

BUT

I did used to like driving it, it wasnt the fastest thing in the world, but you dont buy them for that. It was a nice car to sit in, turn the wheel and enjoy your journey in

Would i buy another ..........NO

Would i recomend one to someone..........Only if i warned them of the troubles first
