Just after the turbo gets my vote, at the top of the pipe so its easy to get to.
Keeping it close means it will be up to temp more quickly.
Can it get too hot or will it never get too hot to let the sensor die instantly??
I tihnk you would have bigger things to worry about first if the exhaust gasses after the turbo were so hot they killed a lambda sensor mate!
