A towel does jsut as good, but we left it over the other side when we moved and it was missions to go back and get it.
As for holding them, I don't 'do' the gill thing. As Matt Hays said, 'Don't try this unless you're absolutely confident with it' & i'm not, and never will be. If i had my pike gloves, i'd have been able to hold them at both ends, but like i said, tackle is down the back of the shed and i only end up tacking make shift tackle and those thermals i grabbed made it like holding eels
Yes, the forceps, as was said to my mate jason 'Fuck it, knew i should have paid the extra 40p for 12" forceps'
