Track tyres are generally built for circuit use and greater longevity so its more difficult to get an even spread of heat into them. Sure you will get your best time with them over a standard road trye, but just think what it could be.. But I also understand you possibly are going to drive there on them, do the event and then drive home so your looking for it t o be an all rounder I guess
