Ok well i used a normal grey primer (i think) and satin matt black spray with some laquer just for protection. The hockey sticks i didnt do a mate took them off me and did them for us which is why they are slightly different but i think it works quite well, they started as carbon fibre ones which looked crap as they were damaged.
