Default Clawing Credit Card payments back......

We bought a rather expensive toilet from an Internet based company and the whole transaction has been fraught with problems.

They c'ocked the payments up, leaving me over my Credit card limit, the Toilet arrived broken, we have never had a receipt etc.

We still have the broken toilet and cannot dump it as our local dump won't take it, they want to charge us. But why should we have to anyway?

The company just aren't bothering any more. They have had their money and, yes we have had a toilet that isn't broken now, but as far as we are concerned they still haven't completed the transaction and we are after compensation for all the pissing about.

We paid for it using 2 credit cards and we are considering clawing one of the payments back so that we get their attention. Good idea or not? If we do, can the credit card company block them from taking the payment back again?

Help!!
