Really sorry to hear this. I know what it's like to lose an animal, it's really really tough. I lost my horse a while ago and i keep his ashes in my house. There is no way i could put him in the garden, i would just hate to think of him out there if that makes any sense . Everybody does things their own way in their own time

Time is a great healer, it takes away the intensity of the pain, but it never takes away the pain completely just makes it more bearable.
