the speed limit on our motorways are too fucking low , the limit of 70 was for a ford anglia.vaux chevette ect, now cars are alot safer and are much better in all areas that the speed limit should be raised,,,,,,, not at all times though but when its empty ect there should be no resonable speed restriction

i dont think i could drive down the M6 at night doing 90mph,,,,,, the M11 is even worse at that speed

fair play to him,,,,,,,, btw i dont know anything about the story so if he was doing 112 through a school play ground with a spliff in his mouth and a can of super t in his right hand then i retract my comment

The speed isnt my issue here. If you are caught at over 100mph its a longer ban than if you are caught going less than 100mph, was once caught doing 90 on my bike and the copper told me so. My argument is that he can pay a high profile lawyer to argue that the police equipment was wrong and his actual speed was 99, not 112 therefore getting a lesser ban! And as for a £750 fine considering this is his 2nd ban is disgrace.

I speed, I freely admit to speeding every now and then, but its when the likes of Bowyer, Beckham and co can blatantly flout the law knowing they have the cash to basically buy off the rule that pisses me off so much.
