These people have no skills, no drive, they don't want to work hard and think they are above working as cleaners etc... They sponge off benefits justifying their attitude to work by blaming a colapsed engineering industry despite the fact they've gone through school knowing it would never last.

They are too mytarish to actually blame themselves, too lazy to get any qualifications and/or work hard so need someone to blame, the BNP and tabloid toilet paper rags have encouraged them to point the finger at imigrants and asylum seakers on the basis that they are taking a chunk out of the benefit system and appealing more to employers.

At the end of the day those that chose to do their homework, complete their coursework, work in Mc Donalds to try and cover their student debts are suprise suprise, OK.

The sad fact is a lot of those pointing the finger at imigrants and asylum seakers just so happen to be relying on the country to support them and are too self obsessed to realise that if the rest of the hard working population of the country decided to treat them in the same way they'd be royally fooked.

Life is a simple balance of supply and demand, you've got to make yourself appeal if you want to get much out of it. If there's someone else out there willing to work harder for less because they realise just how lucky they are to live in this country then excuse my while I don't shed a tear for those that can't see it.

Finally someone with some sense.
That is an outstanding post, well done mate

Would be great if this thread could stay as an intelligent discussion rather than degenerating into personal threats and drivel.

I set myself a personal goal of leaving the country when I was young, nto because I knew enough about the failings of the UK but because I wanted what I couldnt have in the UK (weather, out door lifestyle, relaxed attitudes to name a few).

I dont know much about the BNP but having spent the first 20 odd years in the UK, I have seen more than enough of what so many posters talk about in this thread.

Someone mentioned medical treatment and paying in other countries. I have to pay here or go and find what is called a "bulk billed" doctor if I want it free. Those doctors are few and far between and if you can imagine the wait to try and get in. Virtually everything is private.

Council housing here (or commission housing as its called) is about 20 flats in the odd suburb. People are encourged to buy and the Government assists that with a first home buyers grant.

If people were forced to stand on their own two feet by having a mortgage, I personally think that would go a long way towards people taking more responsibility for their actions. People will not go into work and tell their manager where to go as they know the dole pays.

We are talking years to turn around a problem that has stemmed from previous generations.

Aspire high and you can acheive.
