B&Q own brand paint is made and supplied by Crown Paints.

Asda 'own' bottled beer is mainly Shepherd Neame's 'Bishops Finger'

Asda's 'own' brand thick bleach is the same as 'Parozone'

Many of the tinned products across the stores - corned beef, tuna, vegetables, fruit & tomatoes etc come from the same supplier Premier Foods, they just change the labels in production.

Superdrug's own label baby food is made by Galpharm (Boots)

Tesco's Scottish Mountain Spring water (own brand) is exactly the same as Highland Spring

Sainsburys Low Price tissues are the same as Kleenex standard ones

Tesco's own brand oil comes from Castrol

Asda, Sainsburys, Somerfield, Kwik Save, Morrisons, Waitrose, St Ivel and Co-op fruit trifles are all made in the same location. Morrisons have their own special jelly and the Co-op only use free range eggs, apart from those two they are all the same. (Asda 1kg trifle £1.98 - Somerfield 500g trifle £1.99 etc)

Most of Aldi's biscuits come from McVities

Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose, M&S, Lidl and NETTO all have lettuces and celery from the same field.

Sainsbury's Continental Four Leaf salad and Aldi's Millcroft Mediteranean Salad is exactly the same just a different packing weight.

All standard Plain, Self Raising and bread flour is the same for every brand across the supermarkets. (Somerfield even has an economy range, with exactly the same stuff in as its premium range) the only exception being Tesco Value Self Raising which has an added percentage of recycled waste flour added to it.

All the premium printer papers HP, Epsom etc all comes from James Croppers who also supply the same to the supermarket brands

Asda petrol is made by Shell, the only difference is less additives.

Boots water filter cartridges are the same as Brita
