Tried to fire up my cossie today. Cranks but wont fire. Took the lead of the dizzy that leads to the coil and held it near the slam panel. Got 1 spark each time i cranked it and then no spark

Have been told to get a new crank position sensor and phase sensor, which i will do. Has anyone else had these symptoms before, and if so what was the cure?
