this would be my plan........

buy a knackered old yb, strip it and put it together again.
get the basics then get a shopping list together of uprated parts and rebuild again using better bits.

not thinking of going nuts, maybe a reliable low comp 300ish BHP engine. i dont need it now so it dont matter bout time scale or anything. just wanna get my hands dirty and learn some.

how much would it cost for a knackered yb???
