www.ccleaner.com (not strictly an adware remover, but will clean out any junk and temp files that may be hiding adware installers)

http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx (Windows Defender, pretty good product and integrates with Automatic Updates)

www.theeldergeek.com (a website about services you can stop in XP that prevent some forms of spyware and adware being installed).
