Do an oil change at the same time as the lifters are filled by the motor oil, thats why they tap a bit on start with some cars, takes a min for the oil to get in, so no point in running nice new parts on old oil!!!
You can't replace lifters on their own, a worn cam will wreck them in a matter of minutes. They only tap because when the cam lobes become excessively worn they chew the lifters up. The only way to stop it tapping is a new cam and lifter set. You will also notice an improvement in performance.

And you don't need to squeeze the lifters out they meter oil
