I prefer the facility in the newage Scoobs that gives you the choice to turn off the AUTO feature and manually adjust the position between open and locked diff settings (via a thumb wheel). The AUTO position is way to "safe" if you want ultimate sideways action and car control..... unfortunately with this you require some form of skill, but the effects are awesome once mastered.

The EVO's system is way to clinical imho.
