scotts it's been a fashion trend up here for a couple of years and it is a godsend ...i generally drop it (the new ceiling)down about four inches from the existing ceiling and it gives you a chance to level it off all the way round ,so if your cutting tiles to it you end up with the same size cuts all the way round ...
i've seen some of claytons work on another forum and he is a top tradesman ,and knows what he's talking about...
