My 4x4 saffy has a new grp a coil, cap arm, and leads, when you touch the dizzy cap when the car is running it gives you a cracking shock, enough to make both arms jump!

Is this normall? i have never known it before,

The only other thing i have noticed is that when i look at the rotor arm, its only got a burn mark in one corner, not across the whole face as you would normall expect, Any ideas?

When i set the timming up, i aligned the phase sensor with the lug on the dizzy shaft, the timing is non adjustable anyway, the car runs fine.
