Sorry Ollie i don't think that's true mate. The more people that are seeding the more upload speed you would get while downloading yourself....While still sharing when you start the torrent.

Some people don't know what they are doing with ports/firewalls/global connections and limiting numbers to try and share with. The 'Lost Series 2 Episode 18' Torrent using the Grems.org tracker on Mininova/TS/TR has over 16000 seeders and it's under 12 hours old. So that gives your client an opportunity to grab lots of lots of seeders and max out your connection....Just goes to show the staggering amount of people downloading one single .avi file. Awesome!

Now that was the most fucked up ending of an episode for quite some time!
