IMO 50 psi on stone cold isnt enough mate..

the pressure comes form the oil being forced into small places like, bearings cooling channels etc..

as these wear and increase in size it becomes easier for the oil to get in and hence reduces the oil pressure..

i see almost 80 psi on idle if its been lying over nite.
