yes mate it is as you say more of a cold weld but its what werth call it iv used it on loads of ford kits and it works fine it dosnt crack out goes of in seconds and is as flexable as the plastic and can be sanded to a nice finish as easy as caty can and best of all you dont have to buy expensive kits just the one tube , iv tried lots of this tipe of material over the years including image plast and dura mix but i find the worth stuff is better
