if you don't know the road then to pass judgement on attitude and nature of the guy is rather narrowminded.
racing on the roads is dangerous! a local lad got put away for 5 years for it. did you get hammered enough for doing something that could of killed someone?
a dual carriage way through a town can be 40 mph as quite a few round london were at the weekend when I went. There is no real way I could se of pedestrians getting onto the road but its still a 40 for noise, other traffic visibility of traffic entering on the slip road etc.
I'm just trying to highlight that generalising it is bad and kangaroo court sentenencing without knowing any of the situation is blinkered.
I tend to agree with the above!
All to easy to jump to extremes and paint a picture in your mind that bare no significance to the circimstances in which the lad was stopped!
40mph limit could just as easily be a dual carrigeway as a built up area.
