There is every possibility the pump could be worn out, but they usually progressively wear rather than just suddenly go.

No i was looking at them wiring diagrams and screwing over them because theres so many variations between all the diagrams, im sure its only 1 wire, i'll have another look ASAP and try and give you an answer
